On December 27, 2011 EPA issued amendments to the RFS2 regulations. Here are a few of the changes:
2012 RVO Percentages:
Cellulosic biofuel 0.006%
Biomass-based diesel 0.91%
Advanced biofuel 1.21%
Renewable fuel 9.23%
The 2012 price for cellulosic biofuel waiver credits is $0.78 per waiver credit.
Companies who are Obligated Parties solely via the import of gasoline and diesel will be limited on how many RINs they may separate up to their RVO volumes.
