EIA predicts only 6 plants will make Cellulosic Biofuel in 2012

According to the Energy Information Administration (under the DOE), the 6 plants will produce only 6.9 million gallons of Cellulosic biofuel during 2012.

EPA (in June) proposed requiring from between 3.45 million gallons to a maximum of 12.9 million gallons.

The six plants are:

    1) Fiberight LLC

    2) Ineos New Planet BioEnergy LLC

    3) KIOR Inc.

    4) KI Energy Corp

    5) ZeaChem Inc.

    6) American Process Inc.
